A little about Laure
I have been practicing and studying Yoga for 36 years and began to teach in 2005. I trained in Forrest Yoga style, a type of modern western yoga with Unmaniji. I'm also an accredited Satyananda Yoga Teacher. Modern western yoga is also known as southern Indian yoga, while Satyananda Yoga is known as northern Indian yoga. I combine these two traditions in my classes so I can give my students a more complete experience of Yoga. Yoga and Ayurveda are often called sister sciences. The former addresses the spiritual aspirations while the latter addresses physical health. As an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Lifestyle consultant, I provide a true holistic approach to health, and balance. Having been a vegetarian for 30 years, I became a professional plant based cook. I now combine all of my skills in the programs and retreats I offer in order to give the tools women need to navigate this world while staying in alignment with who they are.
